This year we’re screening Ukrainian short movies in our legendary short movie compilation. ๐๐ฎ๐ž๐ž๐ซ ๐ฌ๐จ๐ฅ๐ข๐๐š๐ซ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ: ๐…๐ซ๐จ๐ฆ ๐Š๐ฒ๐ข๐ฏ ๐ญ๐จ ๐‡๐ž๐ฅ๐ฌ๐ข๐ง๐ค๐ข: ๐š ๐ฌ๐ก๐จ๐ซ๐ญ ๐Ÿ๐ข๐ฅ๐ฆ ๐œ๐จ๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ข๐ฅ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง was screened in Turku in September and again in Helsinki at Cinema Orion in October.

We at Vinokino were devastated to hear that Ville Tavio, the Minister for Foreign Trade and Development, chose to leave Finland out of multinational gender-equality alliance for the rebuilding of Ukraine as it would have also meant supporting sexual and gender minorities.

We have naturally also paid the Ukrainian movie makers for the screening rights in Finland.
