Vinokino 2025!
We’ve got a wonderful line-up of films waiting to cheer up your Autumn, when the nights get dark and rain is ever present.
This year we had record breaking number of audience in Turku, and we’re hoping to see the same trend in Helsinki as well! 🙂
We’re in Helsinki 17.10.–19.10., you can find the program and screening times here.
See you at the movies!
Message from our coordinator
The cuts to culture implemented by the Finnish government have hit us hard as well; funding from the Arts Promotion Centre Finland has now been reduced by half.
Vinokino is the only Finnish film festival dedicated to sexual and gender minorities. The first Vinokino, organized by TuSeta, was held in Turku in 1992.
Vinokino’s mission is to raise awareness about the diversity of sexuality and gender. In recent times, the atmosphere towards sexual and gender minorities has become increasingly tense around the world. Discrimination against us is on the rise, and especially the situation for transgender people has worsened.
If you would like to support Vinokino, you can purchase support tickets from our webstore. One screening ticket 25 € or festival pass 100 €. All proceeds go directly to organizing the festival (the organizers are all unpaid volunteers).
Thank you for standing with us!
The fight for human rights, equality and love is not lost — now is the time to fight even harder!
