Who’ll Stop the Rain

Who’ll Stop the Rain is set against the backdrop of the 1994 Taiwanese student protests. It follows young student Chi-wei, who joins a strike and finds herself caught between personal emotions and political goals. At the same time, she experiences her first love with another woman, learning that protests are more than political struggles—they are also journeys toward discovering love and freedom.

The film explores youth, identity, and resistance.
